Hey Family(:
This is Lauren .... ya know the relative you havn't seen for quite some time now. Well i wanted to let you know that i can't wait to come and see you guys. I'm so home sick, that yesterday I asked my mom if i could fly up there a week early, she said sure and then said " you just have to pay for it " so i told her i would pay for 1/100 of it, and thats when my idea flew right the window. My homesickness is worst than my car sickness and let me tell you my car sickness is AWWWWWFULL. Well can't wait to see you! If possible please ANYONE send me a two way plane ticket to and from Montana so i don't have to ride in a jam-packed car for 18 hrs. with WILD AND INSANE family (and payton)!!! well g2g bye see you soon!

Way to Go!!

Way to go Trev, Camie, Madison, Meredith, Sutter, and Angela on your fantastic finishes in the Whitefish Lake Run! We are so proud of you all!

Hi!

Hello, everybody. This is my first time on a blog, so I think I will start with all my personal information. Okay maybe not. Today was Uncle Paul and Bob's birthday, at Nannie's. I get to spend the night there, too. I don't no why, but I brought about fifty outfits to wear. I guess you never know when an extra one might come in handy.( Or 49 extras.) There is this bird, and it built a nest on nanny And Bumpa's porch. I swear it is rabid. It will come at you if you get near it's babies.( Please tell me that that is not too personal to put on a blog.) Here is a picture of the party.

Cowboy Cookout and Roundup

Howwwdy! Welcome to the Weishaar-Martin-McGill Cowboy Cookout and Roundup! You will experience a branding (family brand), a roping contest (could not find a bull to volunteer, so Alexa and Lauren made a Hilary Clinton head to attach to the hay bale), and gunny sack race. We devoured ribs, potatoes, biscuits, corn-on-the-cob, rhubarb crisp and cowboy coffee straight off the campfire (okay- no campfire, but a patio fire pit). Yummy! We enjoyed the company of a rodeo Princess, farmboy, quite a few beautiful cowgirls, and a real cowboy-Jim Bob Jack George McGill all the way from Broadus Montana!!

Ya'll take care now!

The Dad's Gunny Sack Race...Wait...Is that Logan?

Some pretty fancy footwork!

Birds and Bees
(the age 4 version)
by: Mae age 4
the wheat is blooming
and the chickens are nested in the field
the chickens go into the wheat and the wheat into their feet
the trees are blooming a beautiful flower
and the sweet juice comes from the bees
in the fall, me and brother come out
to jump in the leaves
and winnie comes outside
chasing the ravens
and the birds fall on me
hatching open and fly up
and they always do find worms
and the worms go deep in the dirt
and find insects

Priceless
Ultimate Lego Building Set : $24.99
Live Butterfly Pavilion : $29.99
Webkins Cheeky Monkey : $12.00
Planting beets with your nanny : priceless

Beauty from Lone Pine State Park

This is one of my favorite places to visit and be reminded what a beautiful place we live and what an amazing God we serve that loves us and created this for us. Aunt Hilary

Finally... the mohawk!

For some reason I've always wanted to cut Paul's hair into a mohawk and he finally let me the other night. Let's have a vote and see how many of you think he should keep it this way :)

First Lady Trio

These are some of the famous "First Ladies", all named after First Ladies of merit (Abigail Adams, Martha Washington, Mary Todd Lincoln, Mamie Eisenhower, Lady Bird Johnson - how can you not have a chicken named that? - and another 4 that I can't remember). I honestly don't know which ones they are but that's ok. It's kinda hot out here in the family compoud so Calvin Coolidge(the cock of the walk), started herding them up. These three are the rebels. They refused to go in the woodshed.

whinnie lounging around

Well, well, well, now that we are connected to the world we've decided to show you about our little friend. This little gal flew into the Anderson home this morning. She was pretty flustered and kept running into things but we finally caught her. She was pretty tired and we had to feed her by hand for a little while. She was up at the top of the ceilng and Aunt Sarah ad to bring in a ladder. Talk about a wee bit scary.

Father's Day Weekend Extravaganza!

The 2nd annual Father's Day weekend at Farrish Lake on the Air Force Academy was a great time had by all. We enjoyed baking ourselves in the Colorado sun until we were all very well done, laughing until our bellys ached, and fishing from sun up (5 am) until sun down (10 pm)-there are no time restrictions. I would guess that our group of 13 kids caught at least 25 fish. We kept 9, and had them for dinner Saturday night. As always we had a fabulous time. I thank God for our friends that have become our family away from home.
