Just wanting to share this great video from Lauren's basketball game this past Monday. At one point in the game, Lauren's team was down by 19 pts! After a good chewing out by the coach, they rallied in the 3rd quarter to make up the difference, but struggled to stay ahead. With only 5 seconds left in the game, Lauren drew a foul. The score was 22-23, Lauren's team down by one. This is a moment Lauren will never forget!

Lauren scored the point to tie up the game! The look on her face was priceless-the video doesn't do it justice. The girls went on to win (in double OT) by 5 pts! It was a fabulous ending to a great game. I will admit that I was a very excited and proud mom :)

PS-Good luck Madison at divisionals this weekend-Have a great time!

Great Minds Think Alike!

Our family had the privilege of going to the Sedalia Elementary Science Fair this past Thursday. We were busy checking out all the creative displays, when were turned the corner, and were delighted to find this "birdhouse". Can you imagine our surprise at how much it resembled the fabulous nativity scene that Maggie crafted this Christmas for Nanny and Bumpa. Jon and I laughed so hard we cried. Maggie cracked up-"I think Mitchell got a little carried away with the hot glue too!" Hmm...maybe these two great minds are on to something :)

Well, looks as if I won again!
