Thinking of Christmas?
Today got us in the mood. We got to see the 100 ft.Christmas tree that is on it's way to be the Christmas tree in the White House. It was cut in the Bitteroot forest and is making a few stops along the way, one of the stops was here today, in our little town. We got to sign our names and wish it well .. it was very touching. I held Mae up to sign her name. It choked me up seeing her little five year old handwritten name on the side of the truck. A great day.
Anyway..
I have the names for the little one's Christmas gift exchange, so I thought I would post them ...

drumroll please......

Lauren - Merideth
Payton - Mae
Maggie - Sutter

A Full Quiver...

A goodnight story...
A kiss from Cory...
Killing flies with Lauren...
Yummy steak dinner, courtesy of Nanny & Bumpa

Today was the final day of my mini-vacation here in Colorado with the Martin clan - 4 wonderful days of laughter, relaxation, unbridled junk-food eating (there goes my training - oh well, I can hit it hard and heavy when I get back - yeah, right), and sunshine (did you know the sun actually shines down here?). Most importantly, I've been able to meet, enjoy, and love on Shon and Cory, and in turn, be loved on by them. Since Misty and Jon shared with us their intent to adopt, I've thought about how fortunate whoever God brought into the Martin family would be to be a part of the family (immediate and extended) when in reality, we are the ones who are blessed to have them in our lives. How precious this time has been...

Fun X 6

All 6 kids had a great time last Saturday, just hanging out at home playing together. I can say with certainty that our house was not quiet, but filled with lots of laughter and giggles.

Cory reminds us of those dancing dolls that when you push the button on their back all the joints come loose.:)

Shon and Cory getting a haircut.

Lauren is trying to convince Cory to start walking. I keep telling her that it really is better if he crawls for a while. :) Since this video a week ago, he is now standing independently. Watch out world!
