what is Faith?

Faith is buying a used puzzle at the library for $1, and believing that all 1000 pieces are actually in the tattered box ...and believing that I can put it all together before Christmas.

* all the pieces were there, and last night I finished the puzzle. Mae, Otto and I glued it together (that was interesting) with a 'homemade' puzzle glue. Let me know if there are any die hard puzzle folk out there, and I will share the recipe.

Way to Go Jon!

Jon did it! After 17 weeks in the Arapahoe Law Enforcement Academy, Jon graduated last night. He didn't just graduate. . . He graduated 2nd in his class! As Bob DePratu used to say, we are "bustin' our buttons" with pride. I wish that I had captured the moment when they announced his name for Academic Achievement and Overall Achievement for his class. The look on his face was priceless. It was a very emotional moment. We are so proud of you Jon!

It's that time again!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry this is so late, but my idea of making/sending out invitations just didn't seem to work out! I wanted to invite you to our house on Christmas Eve for our usual "reindeer games" at 5:30. This year Angela and I decided to do something called an "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party". There is only one rule, and that is EVERYONE must wear the ugliest sweater they can find! We will also be doing the gift exchange, so please bring one gift per person suitable for either a male or female. If you would call me or email me what you would like to bring for food, that would be great. I'm thinking that we'll just do hor'derves, but let me know if anyone has any other ideas.
