The children, the beasts, and the birds;

In the Christmas words I would say

And joy on Christmas Day
O, I'd need a pen to write golden
The goldenest pen indeed,

For the happy children to read.

And may the dear Lord be kind,
And send blessings down like snowflakes
For all of His children to find . . . . .
